This policy explains how Marabanking ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data through this website, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019. It does not cover data that SACCOs and other institutions process about their own members inside the marabanking platform; for that data, the institution is the data controller and we act as its data processor.
Data we collect
- Details you give us in our forms: your name, email address, phone number, institution and message.
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a demo or set up a trial.
- To keep this website secure and working properly.
- To send you product updates, only where you have agreed to receive them.
Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, such as hosting and email providers, under contracts that protect it, or where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as we need it to respond to you and manage our relationship with your institution, and then delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to be informed about how your data is used, to access it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. To use these rights, email [email protected]. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
